Open source simulation steering for games such as Assetto Corsa

Adapts to Nardi or NRG steering wheels, and attaches phone to use gyroscope for steering.

STILL IN PROGRESS

  • I’m obsessed with Assetto Corsa

But I do not own a simulator. I do, however, own multiple racing steering wheels and a 3D printer. Thus, the idea to strap my phone to a wheel was born. I tested it using scotch tape first and a software app called “Monect”

  • Everything you need on one build plate

I feel that many 3D printing designs are passed by because they require non-3D-printed hardware. I wanted to minimize the hardware needed down to a few simple bolts, and allow everything to print on a 220x220mm plate overnight.

  • Testing

A few iterations have already been printed and tested. It is playable, but imperfect. Even the bearing is 3D printed, which was a design choice I am 50/50 about so far.
